Wifi NU Breakdown Empty
PostSubject: Wifi NU Breakdown   Wifi NU Breakdown Icon_minitimeWed May 08, 2013 10:55 pm

ok soo basically i am going to be asking other users eventually to make quick summaries for the other tiers where our requirement is based around. If you want to try a new tier that you are uncomfortable with, I hope these posts will help you in the future. This one is for nu and basically lists off what each pokemon does in that tier based off of this list
http://pokemon-online.eu/wiki/index.php?title=5th_Gen_Tier_List
Anything not in brackets is basic knowledge and not much hindsight is needed if you have seen a poke with it in it (it's functions are the same in that tier like all the others if u don't get what i mean)

for physical offensive threats

Archeops, Cacturne(usually a sd spiker suicide lead), Drapion(toxic spikes pursuit trapper, or a sd user), Emboar(type coverage is massive, but dies to recoil), Gurdurr (mini conkeldurr with bulk from eviolite), Huntail (physical gorebyss), Kangaskhan, Klinklang(NEED A RESIST TO ALL 3 MAIN MOVES IN 1 POKE), Piloswine (strong physical attacker and sr), Pinsir (has moxie), Primeape, Regirock (sr and either a bulky attacker or sun supporter), Rhydon (regirock without sun but better attack), Sawk (cb wall breaker and usually moldbreaker), Sawsbuck, Scyther (sd sweeper or choiced), Skuntank, Swellow, Tauros (lookout for choice scarf sets. they have become increasingly popular for some reason), Zangoose (do not let it set up or have a poke that can outrun base 90. IT will rape u),

special offensive threats

Charizard (great stab and specs anything from this hurts), Electrode (fastest poke in nu besides ninjask), Gardevoir can be calm mind or e-belt or choiced), Glaceon (specs hurt), Gorebyss, Haunter (subsplit, sub disable, destiny bond, or anything in between), Kadabra (mini alakazam, always carries sashes), Manectric (premier voltturn user for nu), Regice (fantastic special bulk and superb boltbeam coverage) , Rotom-S (great choiced user or parafusionflincher), Simipour (nasty plot), Zebstrika (faster than manectric, but poorer coverage and spec attack, can potentially be physical though)

versatile threats

Altaria [dragon dance, specs, special wall, very versatile but doesn't have the seer force so stop it early], Drifblim [can be unburden acrobatics with sub destiny bond and others or a calm mmind set with resto chesto with unburden], Eelektross [fantastic coverage on both ends of the spectrun with decent bulk, can set up physically with coil, just not that fast, also is a voltturner and levitates], Electivire [fast and great coverage on both ends], Exeggutor[ can be sunny beam or harvest with resto chesto or sub seed with a sitrus berry, also has sleep powder, Houndoom [this dual stab is deadly, only resisted by a few, can be a pursuit trapper or nasty plot sweeper], Mesprit[ sets up rocks or can be a lo set or a choiced set, mostly special but can be physical, has access to boltbeam, can be a bit bulky as well], Misdreavus [can be a good defensive pivot and can be a nusiance to stall teams, but can, also be a set up sweeper with calm mind or nasty plot], Samurott [special or physical threat, scout team before trying to make an accurate prediction], Seismitoad [bulky rock layer or a special rain dance sweeper], Serperior [sub seed or calm mind or coil],

walls

Alomomola [bulky physical wall and very beefy wish passer], Lickilicky [mixed wall, more on the special spectrum, wish and cleric and phazer], Musharna [bulky calm mind with cleric capabilities and calm mind capabilities, physically bulky], Regice, Regirock [special and physical respectively, talked about them before], Roselia bulky special wall and entry hazard layerer, can rest with natural cure], Seismitoad [needs wish support but can be both physically and specially bulky: DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE FROG], Tangela [most physically bulky user in nu with eviolite, needs hp fire though for klinklang], Vileplume [underrated wall, cleric and moonlight user, but unfortunately has a shallow movepool (can be a sunny day sweeper though)], Wartortle [rapid spin user and good physical bulk (only spinner not weak to rocks and without entry hazards), Weezing (physical wall and hazer, no reliable recovery though,

hazard layers

Armaldo [stealth rocker and rapid spinner], Cacturne [suicide spiker and sd user], Drapion[toxic spikes user *carries pursuit for psychics], Garbodor [toxic spikes and spikes user, Golem [stealth rocker and custap berry user], Mesprit [stealth rocker], Piloswine [stealth rocker and beefy attacker], Pinsir [not that common stealth rocker, Regirock [the bulkiest stealth rocker], Rhydon [biggest attacker and stealth rocker], Roselia [toxic spikes and spikes user and special wall], Seismitoad [stealth rock user], Torkoal [stealth rocker and spinner, can shell smash so be careful], take ur pike for hazard user

hope this helped guys and post comments for potential revisions to this lists

This kind of stuff is awesome!

NU just allows for so much versatility. You can run basically everything from NFEs to beasts like Articuno.
